Warm up project three: "Tunnel"
Warm up project four: "Crazy ball control"
Warm up Project 5: "Crazy Ball Control 2.0"
Warm up is an important part outside of football matches. Although professional players can use some fun warm-up exercises before matches to ease their nervousness in public, amateur football, youth training, football schools, and other less competitive occasions require fun warm-up exercises to motivate players to train.
A common warm-up method is "marching exercise", where several people stand in a row and take turns moving their joints. Unlike the usual warm-up methods, this issue will introduce you to 5 common warm-up games for Western players.
Warm-up item 1: "Hospital"
This game is played within a small area (10 meters) and is a boring sport. After the 10 x 10 field is set up, all players enter the circle but do not join the football.
The coach whistled and the players tried to touch each other's legs. After touching, the touched leg cannot move anymore and needs to shout "ah" to seek help from teammates. If someone touches him again, the player will be eliminated. When everyone is eliminated, the game ends.
This program is somewhat similar to the shoulder patting exercises used by boxers during warm-up, but adds elimination rules to make it more competitive and fun. The main purpose of this program is to relax and warm up the joints and muscles of the player's body, avoiding injuries during the game.
Warm up Program 2: "Football Traveler"
The warm-up program requires an area of approximately 15 meters x 15 meters. The players were divided into two groups. The first round is controlled by a group of players. The other group has no balls. The coach blew the whistle, and the team with the ball needs to kick the opposing player with their own ball. If they hit the opponent's player, they get 1 point. If lost, please try your best to regain possession of the ball. Each round lasts for 1 minute, and the two teams exchange possession at the beginning of the second round.
This is a warm-up exercise with a ball, which not only helps players move around, but also enhances their ball sense.
Warm-up project 3: "Tunnel"
This is a warm-up exercise about dribbling, which does not require dividing into two groups, but requires the participation of the coach. The size of the venue is approximately 20 meters by 20 meters, with boundaries marked with signs or buckets. Each player needs to take a ball. This exercise can not only improve players' ball control ability, but also enhance their decision-making ability. The coach blows the whistle, the players choose their respective areas, control the ball under their feet, and dribble freely. Then the coach walked around the field. When he calls a player, the player needs to spread their legs and hug the ball with their head. The only way to recover is when his teammate passes the ball between his legs, he can resume dribbling.
This exercise tests the players' attention as they need to look up and observe their teammates around them. If they are hit, they must save the ball. Also pay attention to the coach's position. Zhamabu's header is ultimately laborious, and he still needs to quickly find the teammate pointed at by the coach and save the ball.
Warm up project four: "Crazy ball control"
This time the field is slightly larger, 15 meters by 20 meters, and each player stands on the field with a football under their feet. When the coach blows the whistle, each player needs to use the ball under their own feet to kick the ball to the opponent's feet. When the ball hits the opponent's ball, 1 point is awarded. If your ball is hit, 1 point is deducted.
This warm-up project is not only a warm-up for passing, but also tests the players' ball control ability.
Warm-up item 5: "Crazy Ball Control 2.0"
For a 15 meter field, the ball is randomly placed on the field and the players stand outside ready to start. The coach blew the whistle and the players went to compete for the ball. If you get the ball, try to protect it from being snatched by the opponent. If a player does not have the ball, they will try to steal the ball from the feet of the player who has the ball.
Each practice round lasts 30-40 seconds, adjusted according to your player's abilities. When there are 10 seconds left in the game, the coach needs to countdown for the players to hear. This is a method of motivation. At the end of the round, players who do not receive the ball will receive certain punishments, such as squats, push ups, sit ups, etc.
This little game can motivate players. Compared to the above project, this is the game closest to the competition venue.
