If you want to play basketball from scratch, you must participate in more actual combat, because a single practice of basketball basic skills is very boring. Basketball actual combat can not only enhance your personal overall view and passing awareness, but also give you more experience in passing and cutting the ball and better cooperation in the game. Finally, you must strengthen your physical fitness training, so as to increase your personal confrontation and ensure that you are not easily injured in actual combat.
I always thought that my fan base was mainly pitchers (with a certain basketball foundation), middle school students or above, boys, and even right-handed. However, in recent months, I have encountered many comments and private messages, and have discovered and summarized many problems.
For elementary school students, when they first started playing basketball, they could use a size 5 (for teenagers) basketball, but what I saw was completely different. I remember playing on an outdoor court in 2018 and seeing some basketball training camps teaching elementary school students the size 7 (for international competitions or adults) basketball, which was used by both boys and girls?
I personally did not play basketball in elementary school (at that time, we did not have a basketball court, but we had a table tennis table...). In junior high school, I did come into contact with No. 7 basketball, but it was not a problem for my physical condition at that time. Can you think about it carefully, if you had the ability to play No. 7 basketball well in elementary school? I probably don't have that ability, maybe I'll even practice some shooting positions.

The training camp I saw in 2018 was mostly for children aged 5-10, playing size 7 basketball. Most of the shots were taken with their heads down, and the shots were made by exerting force on their waist and abdomen. From my perspective, I could accept it, after all, they were all children!
A child who started playing basketball at such a young age could theoretically help with their basketball career, but the movements they were exposed to from a young age were not standardized, which may cause them to "reverse". Will adjusting posture from scratch in the future take more time than "basketball novices".
I didn't put my energy into teaching basketball to children or girls before. Actually, I had a plan a year ago on how to expand my fan base. I personally prefer practicing on the field, as many details feel like I have no say without practice. I have been playing basketball for almost 22 years now, and I know I can be a pitcher for 15 years!
I trained on the field more than ten times in 2020 (about 25 times in a month in 2019). This training amount is definitely not enough, and outdoor courts often encounter strong winds (playing too much also requires calculating the wind speed, a necessary skill for "snipers" on outdoor basketball courts); When encountering a small wind, as long as the basketball rotates faster in the air, it can be easily solved.
In the future, I will go to the basketball court to practice and study shooting from the perspective of elementary school students and girls. At the same time, I also hope that my shooting system is suitable for all basketball enthusiasts (regardless of gender, age, or health).
